The capital Berlin is Jörg Später's last stop on his tour on the trail of the Frankfurt School, more precisely the Walter Benjamin Archive in the Akademie der Künste. Not only Walter Benjamin's estate is there, but also that of Adorno student Rolf Tiedemann (1932-2018). Tiedemann did his doctorate on Walter Benjamin's philosophy at the Institute for Social Research and was Adorno's personal assistant in Frankfurt in the 1960s, which makes him a key witness of the Frankfurt School and a central reference in Jörg Später's research project.
