The Archaeological Museum in the Amman Citadel is the oldest museum of its kind in Jordan. Its holdings include objects that relate the history of mankind over the last 100,000 years – all of them priceless. However, the museum itself is not state of the art, finds are not stored appropriately, and conditions fall short of modern standards. This is to be rectified by installing storerooms in the museum basement with a flexible shelving system for the 5,000 to 7,000 objects already listed and documented.

I would like to post it for InterNations members in Amman, but they do not all speak German.
Many thanks.
