The numerous Egyptian tombs that have been preserved to this day reveal a great deal about life in ancient Egypt. This includes the burial chamber of Neferhotep, which shows a contemporary depiction of the temple of Karnak. The Egyptian-German research team led by Dipl. Rest. Christina Verbeek and Dipl. Rest. Susanne Brinkmann uncovered the paintings and discovered that the temple was once connected to the Nile, Egypt's most important river to this day.
