In a general discussion Thomas T. Müller, Prof. Dr. Enno Bünz and Dr. Hartmut Kühne offer answers to questions on how people on the eve of the Reformation lived and practised religion. They start with the hypothesis that the Reformation was not the result of a fundamental religious and ecclesiastical crisis. Quite on the contrary: Late Medieval times were characterised by a deep and vibrant peity. The three experts shed light on this and the planned exhibition that will provide testimony to this extraordinary form of religious practice.
