Dr. Julia Menne is part of a long tradition. The Oldendorf Totenstatt was discovered 170 years ago and since then the history of the Stone Age necropolis has been researched by her colleagues. The result is a broad research base: countless finds, photographs and records bear witness to the excavations. But the archaeologist is asking new questions about the archaeological site and is using the latest scientific methods in her research project, which is supported by the Gerda Henkel Foundation. What these are and what results they bring to light, Julia Menne shares in the general interview.
