The bow and arrow is the focus of Dr Erik Marsh's research project, which is funded by the Gerda Henkel Foundation. The scientist and his team are trying to find out how the weapon spread in time and space: When was it developed? When were bows and arrows also used in South America? In the Natural History Museum of La Plata, Dr Marsh is trying to find answers to the first questions of the project - because numerous exhibits are still stored here today, which the scientists want to take a closer look at.
