In the depot of the La Plata Museum, the team around archaeologist Dr. Erik Marsh made an interesting discovery: A stone plate with straight carvings that could be used to bend arrow shafts straight. However, it is not the only interesting exhibit the scientists are looking at more closely for their research: Wood fragments of broken arrows allow isotope analyses and thus an unusually precise age determination of the fragments for archaeology.
