Dossier: Lisa Maskell Fellowships

created on 12/07/2018 by Judith Wonke

The Lisa Maskell Fellowship programme was initiated in 2014 to support universities and young scholars in Africa as well as in Southeast Asia. The programme, named after the Foundations founder Lisa Maskell, is the largest international support programme for PhD students in the history of the Foundation. It aims to counter the outflow of qualified young scholars and to ensure the doctoral students enjoy excellent academic training. During summer 2018, an interview series was initiated in order to introduce the fellows and their projects to a larger public.
