Richard Sennett, Centennial Professor of Sociology at the London School of Economics and University Professor of the Humanities at New York University, is an American sociologist, known for his research about history and design of cities and the organization of work. His new book "Together: The Rituals, Pleasures and Politics of Co-operation" deals with co-operation which is hard because it is about learning to live with people who think differently.
